The Stoney Creek Chamber held an orientation breakfast March 8th at the Stoney Creek Legion. Chamber of Commerce staff organized the event which was facilitated by President Audie McCarthy and had presentations by Dan Kendrick and Scott Moore about the Chambers Insurance program as well as a number of other presentations by Chamber Board members.
The main theme of the meeting was to get involved, and use the opportunities at Chamber events to network and showcase your business.
There was also a lot of information provided to those in attendance about the benefits of Chamber membership.
The meeting ended before 9am which gave everyone a chance to get back to business.
A door prize was provided by Angela Tisiot, Hunter Business Forms, and was presented to Peter Kerr, Murphy Business Hamilton. The meeting was filled with a lot of information interspersed with a little humour. If any members are interested in attending a future orientation session please call or contact Connie or Dave at the Chamber office, 905-664-4000, firstname.lastname@example.org.
