Our event sponsorships are a cost-effective way to get desirable results, and a great way to be seen as a business leader among your peers.

By visibly supporting the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce as a sponsor you are also demonstrating your support to the local business community. LUNCHEON SPONSORSHIPS

Annual: ECONOMIC REVIEW LUNCHEON (Spring) – Valuable insight on the economy from an industry expert. Each year we invite a guest speaker to present their perspective on national and global economies based on current analyses and how this affects our local economy.

Annual: MAYORS LUNCHEON (Fall) – Wonderful opportunity to hear from our Mayor and what they have to say about current and future state of Hamilton (and highlighting Stoney Creek and the surrounding communities).

Take advantage of a Luncheon Sponsorship and grasp the attention of key business leaders and their colleagues in our community.

Not only do you reserve speaking rights at your sponsored luncheon, but you also get a variety of advertising exposure with your logo and name.

Note: Typically, there are 4-6 sponsors for our luncheons. These luncheons are a sit-down meal.

Occasionally, other Special Event Luncheons are held such as STATE OF THE CITY (speaker event where elected officials or city staff have an open dialogue to discuss the year ahead), ENTREPRENERIAL etc. are offered and will offer the same sponsorship details as above. Other notable topic luncheons may be scheduled and held at various times throughput the year.

BUSINESS BEFORE 9 BREAKFAST – MEMBER ORIENTATION

Get your company name out there at one of our bi-annual breakfast events (Jan. and Sept.). Sponsorship opportunities include a chance to address the crowd, greet attendees as they enter or a chance to get your company information into the hands of the business community. This event is a sole sponsorship.

Want to present a learning opportunity to our membership at a Lunch & Learn? We can hold these in-person (with a small lunch) or virtually. SMALL BUSINESS WEEK

Small Business Week is an annual celebration of entrepreneurs. Locally, we strive to celebrate entrepreneurs in every stage of business during this week. Each year we evaluate how best to showcase our knowledgeable members to educate as well as celebrate entrepreneurism. For example, in 2022 the chamber arranged three virtual sessions centred on small business marketing strategy, financial wellness, and impacting and engaging the different generations in business. Each session had a member as the keynote speaker and all three sessions had one corporate sponsor. This event is a sole sponsorship or can be in conjunction with another member, at the discretion of the chamber.

Annual Community Achievement Awards GALA Sponsorships (May)

This is the premier business event of the year for our community. In 1967, the Stoney Creek Chamber awarded its first Citizen of the Year Award. Since then, the recognition has been expanded to recognize great citizens and businesses that have distinguished themselves with outstanding contributions to our community, and each year a wonderful Gala is held in honour of the award recipients.

Various levels of sponsorship available; please note some sponsorships are granted year over year to the same sponsor. Please inform the office if you would like to be placed upon the waiting list for the award sponsors.

Stoney Creek Chamber OPEN Golf Tournament – June

Participants include business leaders in the community, chamber members and their guests. The tournament is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year and brings together the best of the business community for a day of fun activities and networking.

Invest in this exciting opportunity to showcase your business by sponsoring our Golf Tournament (and do not forget to join in on the fun as a single golfer, or get your friends, colleagues and customers and make up a foursome, etc!!).

Be a Silver Sponsor or Hole Sponsor and consider having a table/booth at a hole and offer a game to the golfers. We also offer a $10,000 Hole-in-One Contest (although this sponsorship is currently filled). The chamber is also open to another type of sponsorship requested (if it would align with our goals of the tournament).

Please also consider donating a prize for the tournament. This helps us to add to the overall enjoyment for the golfers as they have a great chance to win some amazing prizes. There will be corporate recognition for this both at the event and after on the website and e-blast.

Annual General Meeting (AGM) – (Sept)

Our annual AGM gives provides members a report and financials on activities and successes of the past year and features the swearing in of our incoming Board.

Note: Typically, there are 4-6 sponsors for this event, however we have offered sole sponsorship in certain cases (at the discretion of the chamber). Food service (usually buffet, finger foods) following the meeting.

NOTE:

For many events, the Chamber has a first right of refusal returning clause; quite often you will notice the same principal sponsors return each year. What better proof that event sponsorship provides great return each year!
